    ● Ce numéro spécial aborde la question des nouvelles formes d’action publique régulant les usages des terres agricoles au Nord et au Sud. Il traite des enjeux d’urbanisation, d’accès à la terre ou de risques environnementaux. Les recherches présentées plaident pour le croisement des regards disciplinaires (économie, géographie, sociologie et anthropologie) et des méthodes (entretiens qualitatifs, questionnaires quantitatifs, analyse bibliographique et documentaire, étude cartographique, observation de jeux de rôle). À partir d’analyses au contenu empirique détaillé, ce sont les convergences d’enjeux de régulation qui sont soulignées, au-delà de la spécificité des contextes nationaux dans les pays développés et en développement. Trois grandes thématiques sont traitées successivement : les revendications et conflits autour de l’accès aux droits fonciers, la complexité des modalités et des échelles d’action publique, ainsi que la pluralité des référentiels portés par les discours politico-économiques
